Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of failures.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, adhering to company EH&S guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
SAP work notification and work order review and processing
Planning and executing tailgate meetings
Verifying equipment isolations
Work with Planner to perform upfront scoping and task list creation for maintenance activities
Work with the sites Scheduler to determine capacity of resources and required time allotments for maintenance activities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright certification.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a millwright, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and piping.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
