Adecco is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team in Whitby, ON. In this role, you’ll manage vaccine inventory, ensure cold chain compliance, and support distribution to healthcare partners across the region. - Pay rate: $22 - $27/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing vaccine inventory by conducting regular counts, placing orders, managing returns, and ensuring accurate records.
- Maintaining proper storage and transportation of vaccines, strictly following cold chain protocols.
- Coordinating the distribution of vaccines to various stakeholders, including schools, clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals.
- Preparing compliance reports and conducting audits related to vaccine storage and handling.
- Monitoring and maintaining refrigeration and transport equipment to ensure optimal vaccine conditions.
- Participating in internal workgroups to stay informed on best practices and evolving standards in vaccine management.
- Accurately entering and updating vaccine data in the provincial Panorama system.
- Providing responsive and professional customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assisting with emergency response operations outside of regular working hours when required.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Holds a Registered Pharmacy Technician Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Is registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Brings at least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical inventory management, with a strong preference for vaccine-related work.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of cold chain logistics, vaccine handling, and applicable health regulations.
- Possesses a valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with systems like Panorama.
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Is physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and travelling to off-site locations as needed.
