Adecco is actively seeking a Plant Manager to join our client’s team in the advanced manufacturing and sustainable energy sector. This remote, full-time role offers a competitive salary of $150,000 CAD per year and the opportunity to lead and shape the operations of a high-impact production facility.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations—including safety, performance, budgeting, and team development. You'll work cross-functionally with project and corporate teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day plant operations with responsibility for safety, quality, cost, and team leadership.
Collaborate with Project Teams and Corporate Functions to ensure full operational readiness.
Establish and maintain strong relations with authorities and local stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in processes and profitability.
Ensure EHS compliance and champion a zero-incident safety culture.
Oversee budgeting and financial performance of the plant.
Partner with HR to build a high-performing operations team and manage employee relations.
Develop and implement training and operational procedures.
Ensure team alignment with our client’s Code of Conduct, values, and business principles.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, or related field.
Proven leadership experience in plant or manufacturing operations, preferably within large organizations.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Excellent communication and team-building skills; fluency in English is required.
Deep understanding of EHS principles and commitment to sustainable operations.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Willingness to travel and engage with global and local teams.
