Key responsibilities:
Support Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders
Coordinate project schedules and track milestones and deliverables
Communicate with architects, engineers, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
Distribute project drawings and specifications to stakeholders
Assist with procurement activities and track material deliveries
Coordinate with municipal authorities on permits and inspections
Monitor site progress and assist with quality control and safety compliance
Support with progress claims and budget tracking
Maintain clear and consistent communication across all project teams
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in a similar role within a general contracting environment
Experience working on commercial, institutional, or multifamily projects
Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven approach
Familiarity with Alberta Building Code and local construction regulations (asset)
