Adecco is currently hiring a Project Coordinator for a full-time, permanent position with a reputable general contracting company specializing in commercial, institutional, and multifamily construction in Edmonton, AB.

As a Project Coordinator, you'll support the successful delivery of construction projects by managing schedules, documentation, and communication among project teams. This role requires 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with construction management software.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders

  • Coordinate project schedules and track milestones and deliverables

  • Communicate with architects, engineers, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

  • Distribute project drawings and specifications to stakeholders

  • Assist with procurement activities and track material deliveries

  • Coordinate with municipal authorities on permits and inspections

  • Monitor site progress and assist with quality control and safety compliance

  • Support with progress claims and budget tracking

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all project teams

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role within a general contracting environment

  • Experience working on commercial, institutional, or multifamily projects

  • Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven approach

  • Familiarity with Alberta Building Code and local construction regulations (asset)
