Adecco is actively seeking a Project Coordinator to join our client’s team, an Indigenous-led organization in Gold River, BC. This full-time role offers a salary of $75,000–$85,000 CAD per year and focuses on supporting community-driven land and resource initiatives. You’ll assist with project tracking, contract compliance, funding management, and administrative coordination to support the department’s strategic goals.
Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of experience, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn about First Nations Title, Rights, and reconciliation principles, including UNDRIP. Responsibilities:
Coordinate multiple projects, maintaining schedules, deliverables, and timelines to support departmental efficiency.
Manage and track contracts, ensuring compliance with laws, industry standards, and governance policies.
Prepare, submit, and manage complex funding applications, capital allocations, and project reports.
Assist in the review of bid conditions, tenders, RFPs, and contracts.
Work closely with the Finance department to develop budgets and reconcile financial statements, including fund allocations and journal entries.
Organize departmental travel, event logistics, booking schedules, and expense reimbursements.
Develop and maintain an Asset List for the department.
Track funding sources and manage invoicing systems, contribution agreements, and progress reporting.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Project Management.
3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or administration.
Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Understanding or willingness to learn about First Nations Title and Rights, Indigenous culture, history, and reconciliation principles, including the Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Familiarity with Natural Resource Operations and ability to work independently on related initiatives.
Strong understanding of contract governance, RFP processes, and funding systems.
Driver’s License, access to own transportation, and ability to travel as required.
RCMP fingerprinting clearance will be required.
