Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Project Engineer (civil/earthworks) to support engineering design evaluations and assist in the successful execution of various projects for our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB. In this role you will work under close supervision to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with safety and compliance standards. This role also provides technical support and acts as a backup to the Project Manager when required.

Responsibilities:
Support development of ITT packages, bid evaluations, and contractor selection
Coordinate sourcing of long-lead equipment and support FEED contractor interfaces
Facilitate project gating (Gate 3) and functional interaction plans
Track and manage project issues and change requests
Ensure scope is completed per project objectives, standards, and specifications
Act as liaison between contractors and internal teams
Support smooth project stage transitions and lead PMT in applying project systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, and project coordination on civil/earthworks projects
Strong understanding of design standards, specifications, and project controls
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, planning, and team leadership
Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities in a dynamic project environment
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
