Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction in Calgary, AB, offering $120,000–$150,000 per year. You’ll oversee large commercial, institutional, and multi-unit residential projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and safety standards. This role involves leading onsite and office teams, managing subcontractors, and collaborating with stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, coordination, and performance tracking.
- Interpret technical specs and project documents.
- Prepare and update construction schedules, milestone reports, and client progress reports.
- Monitor subcontractor work for quality and timeliness.
- Manage project plans and adapt as needed.
- Select, mentor, and supervise subcontractors and junior staff.
- Prepare proposals, bids, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Anticipate and resolve project challenges and risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Implement quality control and ensure client requirements are met economically.
- Use scheduling and ERP software (e.g., Vista ERP) to track labor, budgets, and expenses.
- Suggest and support process improvements to boost efficiency.
Requirements:
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- 10–15+ years of experience managing commercial or institutional construction projects over $30M.
- Postsecondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in leading projects independently with exceptional organizational skills.
- Hands-on experience with construction management contracts.
- Proficiency with Vista ERP or similar construction management software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
