Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for customer service and a knack for managing fast-paced, high-volume retail environments? Adecco is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Retail Sales Manager to lead our client’s retail team and drive sales performance in Richmond, BC.
In this role you should be passionate about customer service, have strong leadership skills, and be experienced in managing daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a hands-on retail leadership role requiring strong sales development skills. Ideally you will have strong background in managing daily operations in retail chain settings such as bakeries, cafés, quick-service restaurants, or specialty retail brands.

Pay Rate: $50-55K per year.
Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: 7am-7pm PDT, 7 days a week (average of 35 hours of work per week)

Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Deliver exceptional, one-on-one customer service and maintain a clean, inviting sales area.
Execute promotional campaigns and ensure team readiness through training and communication.
Train, onboard, and manage performance of sales staff, including conducting reviews and coaching.
Maintain compliance with OH&S and Food Safety Program (FSP) standards.
Support bakery administration including payroll, cash handling, and stock takes.
Qualifications:
A strong, hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a customer-facing role.
Outgoing, personable, and passionate about retail.
Ready to take over day-to-day responsibilities from the Bakery Operator.
Understands this is a retail-focused, not administrative, position.
Experience managing and leading a team in a retail or food service environment.
Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences.
Basic financial management skills (cash handling, banking, stock control).
Knowledge of OH&S, Food Safety, and First Aid procedures.
Beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Certifications: Food Safe Level 1, First Aid Level 1.
Completion of Breaducate training modules (or willingness to complete).
Must be flexible with working hours, especially on weekends.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
