We are currently looking for a Client Sales Representative to join our Commercial Insurance Division. In this role, you’ll contribute to our company’s growth and success by offering top-tier support to our commercial insurance clients on a daily basis.
Client Sales Representative – Commercial Insurance
Location: Hamilton, ON, Canada
Base Salary 65K + Commission
Permanent - Full Time
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial clients in collaboration with our Sales Team
Outbound sales to find net new commercial clients.
Evaluate clients’ existing insurance coverage, risk exposure, and claims history to identify appropriate insurance solutions.
Enter and maintain accurate records for claims and new client data.
Respond to client requests and handle urgent matters as needed.
Build strong relationships with clients and gain a deep understanding of their needs.
Work with insurance providers to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
Keep detailed records of all clients, insurer, and stakeholder communications.
Address client questions about policies, coverage options, and billing through phone, email, or written correspondence.
Prepare and send renewal documentation as directed.
Oversee and follow up on client billing and outstanding payments.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
At least 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally within a brokerage or insurance firm.
R.I.B.O. license required; progress toward C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designations is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Goal-oriented and motivated to achieve results.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
