In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards. You will also play a pivotal role in advanced research and development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technological innovation and enhance product performance.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize electrical systems and components for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead advanced research and development projects, evaluating new technologies and materials for potential application.
Analyze and interpret complex technical specifications, electrical schematics, and design documents.
Develop and implement testing and validation procedures to ensure product reliability, functionality, and safety.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering to integrate electrical designs into overall systems.
Identify and address technical challenges, recommending design improvements and innovative solutions.
Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and design reviews to stakeholders.
Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for engineering projects.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to maintain technical expertise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on advanced electrical design and development.
Experience in developing electronic hardware for aerospace Electric Power applications
Understanding of the development lifecycle for aerospace
Awareness of aerospace standards and guidelines (RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD- 704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810)
Knowledge of DO-254, Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware and DO178, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.
Experience working in a laboratory environment
Ability to work under time pressure and achieve results

Strong oral and written communication skills enabling effective interaction with diverse and global project peers.
Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation (such as white papers, design description documents)
