Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our client’s finance team in Calgary, AB. In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely external financial reports, providing technical accounting guidance, and maintaining robust internal accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including supporting documentation, detailed note disclosures, and reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Consolidate and prepare financial information for inclusion in the parent company’s financial statements under IFRS.
Record and maintain monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc accounting journal entries to support financial statement preparation.
Develop financial reports for both internal stakeholders and external parties, along with ad hoc financial analysis.
Analyze and interpret financial results by comparing against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods to provide insights for senior management decision-making.
Conduct technical accounting research and advise on the appropriate treatment of complex transactions, including the implementation of new accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with the organization’s internal control framework and maintain proper documentation for risk and control purposes.
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to audits of the company and its parent entity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA designation is required.
1–3 years of post-designation experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with financial statement preparation, dual currency transactions, and consolidations is an asset.
Familiarity with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
