Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for their multi-family residential construction projects in Calgary, AB. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, particularly within the multi-family residential sector. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key construction projects and lead a dynamic team in a growing industry.
Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
Developing and updating project schedules in collaboration with the project manager, while monitoring and controlling project budgets.
Ensuring all work meets or exceeds quality standards and is completed on schedule.
Enforcing safety regulations and fostering a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
Providing regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management on the progress of the project.
Addressing and resolving any on-site issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Managing project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
7-10 years of experience in site supervision within the construction industry, with a strong focus on multi-family wood frame residential projects (4-6 floors with underground parkades).
In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
Proven ability to effectively manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades, while ensuring project goals are met.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
A keen eye for quality control, ensuring all work meets or exceeds project specifications.
Familiarity with construction software and project management tools to track progress and manage documentation.
Extensive experience in enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
