Are you passionate about clinical research and data integrity? Adecco is seeking a dedicated Statistician to join our team and support statistical activities within clinical protocols and reports. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and experience interpreting statistical data in accordance with regulatory guidelines. A Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field and 3+ years of industry experience are essential.
Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time | Temporary (6 month contract)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Day shifts
Key Responsibilities
Develop statistical methods sections and perform statistical analyses for clinical protocols and reports
Ensure accuracy and consistency between report narratives, summary tables, and statistical listings
Identify and correct flaws in result interpretation or inconsistencies with reporting guidelines
Act as a Subject Matter Expert by clearly explaining statistical concepts to both scientific and non-scientific colleagues
Promote a safe and healthy work environment
Support other duties as needed
Qualifications
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or Epidemiology (specialization in Statistics/Biostatistics preferred)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in clinical research or regulatory environments
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to influence and collaborate across departments
Skilled in clinical study design and statistical methodologies for regulatory submissions
Proficient in statistical software such as R, SAS, or Minitab
Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and FDA 510K processes is an asset
