Adecco is currently hiring a full-time proactive and organized Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor / Forklift Operator to oversee and coordinate key operational activities, including warehouse, receiving, production, and shipping functions for our client in Woodbridge, ON. This leadership role is critical in ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable company policies, health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality procedures. This role does require certification operation of forklifts in the warehouse as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate receiving of inbound Raw Material and shipping of Finished goods products
o Assign, prioritize and supervise work duties in order to meet schedules
o Requisition material and supplies to support daily operations and monitoring associated inventory
o Complete documentation required under regulatory regulations
o Coordinate receiving of inbound Raw Material and shipping of Finished goods products
o Document and record all workplace incidents immediately in the form of incident reports
o Follow and guide other on company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes
- Provide employees with continual input on work performance and act as a guide for improvement
- Perform problem solving/ route cause analysis when problem or errors occur; Scan material in and out of supermarket or warehouse, print required documents and labels
o Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas including line feeding, re-pack, put-away & pick areas
- Proactively respond to and resolve workplace conflicts respectfully and appropriately
o Proactively engage in problem solving as issues arise and lead others to do the same
- Release orders as appropriate following the established guidelines and procedures
o Daily reconciliation of order status
o Monitor and track time and attendance for employees assigned to the Inbound/Outbound area
o Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations
o Check NAV computer system for correct locations for put-away/ picking problems for orders
o Distribute /delegate orders on a daily basis to operators/employees
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the Manufacturing industry in a Shipping and Receiving role
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Effective stress management skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Working knowledge of health & safety requirements
- Ability to quickly learn inhouse systems
- Deadline oriented with an ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP requirements
- Ability to work in a team, and/or under minimal supervision
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
