Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time experienced Retail Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work in Scarborough, ON. As a Retail Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. Ideally, you will have experience in shipping and receiving, as well as strong organizational skills. This position requires own transportation as it is not transit accessible.

Responsibilities:
Material handling
Moving spools
Relocating piping from pallets to standing racks
Shipping/receiving duties
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Packaging/order picking
Maintain clean work area
Answer the phone and customer inquiries
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and arranging for carrier pickup
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects
Resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience an asset
Previous shipping and receiving experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
Excellent communication skills
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
